No, there are none whatsover. Snappy Job will always remain free and does not have ads.
Is this just for my small projects around the house?
It is also flexible enough to be used to find a candidate for a position. Be consise and use the chat to further add any details. You will get local results no more than an hour away.
Is there any regulation to what is posted?
Only to prevent inappropriate content. We do not tolerate abusive or inappropriate behavior posted in the job section or in the chat section. We will do our best to remove it, but if you see something then please report the job listing and we will get right on it. We can also temporarily ban users for a period of time if they heavily abuse the service.
Are you having trouble getting your location on the web version?
First of all, make sure that cookies are enabled. Even if cookies were enabled, sometimes you will still get the error initially and will simply need to refresh the page. You can also try to provide your location using the blue "find location" button. If that fails, double check that your browser settings allow location services. If they do, then cookies are not enabled.
Why isn't my profile location changing?
Your profile will change location whenever you login. That way, it does not update your location while you check a listing on vacation.
Can I disable push notifications for just one of my listings instead of having to disable it for the entire app?
You can do that by going into that listing on an iOS device and then tapping the share button in the upper right hand corner. There will be an option to unsubscribe from that group until you post again. If you created the group, you can also disable push notifications by closing the group on the web or iOS.
Why can't I see the close listing button or the give button?
You can only see the close and give buttons if you were the one who posted the listing.
How can I obtain a copy of my date or have my date deleted?
Please email snappyjob at [email protected] to receive instructions on how to obtain a copy of your data or to have your data deleted, which will happen after we receive verifying information that the data is yours in order to prevent fraudulent deletions or copies.
Will changing my email affect my previous posts?
Yes, it will change your contact email for your previous posts.
